It’s not as bad as it seems, it’s actually pretty great! It’s a birthday I had dreaded for some time now, as society deems you should have your sh** together by this point and that is something I haven’t quite mastered the art of yet.
I can honestly say some of the best experiences were over this beautiful birthday, my two best friends took me to see The Spice Girls in Edinburgh for the weekend, I went to visit a dream-like spa in Wales with my mum and sister, had wine tasting in my favourite Chateau and a surprise trip to Lake Garda in Italy at the end of the month. It’s safe to say I was truly spoilt.
Here are some snippets of the most amazing birthday yet and here is to the rest of my 30’s… learning to love myself a whole lot more, becoming wiser (I hope), getting even better at make up and just chilling the fuck out and realising we only get one shot.
My advice: do more of what terrifies you!! We don’t get anywhere sat all cosy in our comfort zone, push yourself more, feel fear MORE and watch what happens x
