I could not have been happier to announce the launch of my little business on Monday {30th Sept’19} via Instagram. I have been toying with the idea for quite some time now and whilst now having the time and determination in me to do it, I finally hit the go button to making it happen.

calmcreative is a space where I can showcase my graphic design work, which I have fallen in love with doing the last 3 years but also a place with purpose, which is where the name initially came from.

CALM CREATIVE. Being a ‘creative’ type myself and an active ‘creative’ online (I put them in quotation marks) because our latest social media society has given us that title. I have often felt lost, inadequate, not good enough, I have compared myself to others online, it has the power to elevate anxiety and basically it can often be the opposite life of ‘calm’. So I want to create inspiring content, in the form of quotes, messages and advice for fellow creatives on how to be a more calm creative, how to overcome the fear of our work not being good enough and just a little support network of encouragement. One of my main aims is to install a sense of self belief back into the people who visit the feed and do my best to make sure we are remembering not to lose sight of who we were before we started this journey on social media.

I’m excited to share with you some of the designs I have been working on the past couple of months, my love of branding, logo creation and helping businesses to achieve their desired aesthetic has grown over the last couple of years in the various jobs outside of influencing I have done. I have also always had a love for wedding stationery such as invites, save the dates and I have been working hard behind the scenes creating 4 bespoke wedding stationery packages which I hope you will all love.

Thank you to every single one who has supported my @calmcreativeco ig page over the last couple of days. It’s so lovely to see 158 of you there already waiting to see what comes next. I’m profusely excited too.

If you get a spare minute, take a little look at the template below and fill it out if you have a spare 5 minutes. It is a great little exercise which puts life into perspective a little bit and makes you value what is important both within yourself and outside of it.
